Born in Providence on July 26, 1932, Mr. Baker owned and operated L.A. Baker Architects in Westerly and throughout Rhode Island for many years. Mr. Baker was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army and graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a longtime member of the American Institute of Architecture. He passed away in 2008.
